Afternoon half day conference: Become confident and creative in teaching grammar
Teachers are under pressure to deliver a more challenging curriculum and meet higher demands, while dealing with more issues and bigger workloads than ever before. With so much more to cover, how can we ensure we deliver the new grammar requirements with confidence and creativity?
The afternoon provides the opportunity to understand the changes to grammar and the implications on pupils. The sessions will explore ways to be bring fun into grammar lessons. It will offer practical techniques to help pupils grasp grammar concepts and tips on getting creative with teaching grammar through story telling. It will provide strategies to embed grammar in writing and offer solutions on closing the gap and planning
interventions. There will even be a chance for you to brush up in your own grammar in our Grammar Crammer Workshop!
